My sister threw me the most beautiful and intimate baby shower a couple weeks ago, I just had to share.

Love these pictures of the invitation, on our fireplace mantel.

My sister set up canopies and tables in our backyard.

Love the table settings. The plates and flatware don’t even look disposable.

Lunch was lemon chicken with goat cheese & apple salad from Selland’s Market Cafe (a Sacramento favorite).

Mr. Party and I worked on some budget improvements to the backyard and patio prior to the party. Its such an inviting space now (you can see it in the background).

The favors were miniature glass vases filled with Gerber daisies and tulips.

One of my favorite shower activities was the DIY headband station. My sister set up all kinds of pretty flowers, bows, and ribbon, so that everyone could make a headband (or two or three!) for Jamie.

Don’t get me started on the cupcakes! My sister got the confetti vanilla cupcakes from SuzieCakes Bakery. These are some of the best cupcakes I have eaten. Like ever.

One of my favorite gifts was a vintage suitcase from my mom, that actually used to be mine, but I had forgotten all about it. Hadn’t seen it in years!

I was also excited for Jamie to get her first Ana Apple onesie. 916 is the area code for Sacramento, in case you didn’t know. Ana has worked very hard to build her business of handmade children’s apparel and recently opened up shop in Old Sacramento. We love supporting local!

The shower was a blast and my sis did an amazing job! I also owe a HUGE thank you to family friends, Doug & Vicki, for sharing their awesome photography skills (all the photos above were taken by them). They are also local to Sacramento and can be found at Photography by Doug & Vicki if you are looking for a photographer for your next special event.
